FAQs
Loft insulation: your questions answered
Can't see your question? Call 07592 992052 or message us on WhatsApp.
01How thick should loft insulation be?
For mineral wool loft insulation, the commonly recommended depth is around 270mm. If yours is well below the top of the joists, it is probably worth topping up. We can check during a free inspection.
02Can you remove old insulation and debris?
Yes. We clear out old debris and tired insulation before laying the new insulation, so you are left with a clean, properly insulated loft.
03Can you do it at the same time as my roof?
Yes — it often makes sense to insulate the loft while we're already working on the roof. Mention it when you ask for your quote.
04Is the quote free?
Yes. The inspection and quote are free, with no obligation to go ahead.
