Dry ridge & dry verge systems
Loose ridge tiles and crumbling mortar are among the most common roof problems we see. A dry ridge system fixes each ridge tile mechanically with purpose-made brackets, screws and a ventilated roll — so there's no mortar to crack, weather and work loose.

Dry ridge or wet ridge?
A traditional wet ridge relies on mortar, which can crack and come loose over time. Dry ridge systems are generally considered the more durable, lower-maintenance choice for modern roofs. Wet ridges still have their place on some roofs — we'll recommend what suits yours.

FAQs
Dry ridge & verge: your questions answered
Can't see your question? Call 07592 992052 or message us on WhatsApp.
01Can a dry ridge be fitted to my existing roof?
Yes. We regularly remove an existing mortar ridge and install a new dry ridge system without replacing the whole roof.
02Will the new ridge tiles match my roof?
We'll match the ridge tiles to your roof wherever possible.
03Is a dry ridge better than a wet ridge?
Dry ridge systems are generally considered more durable and need less maintenance because they do not rely on mortar alone. A wet ridge can still be the right choice on some roofs; we will advise during the free inspection.
